Ship Automations - FastTrek Docs

Fundamental concepts of FastTrek ship automations.

Ship Automations allow you to automate repetitive ship-based tasks within the game.

FastTrek includes a variety of ship automations (also known as “modes”) to accomplish different in-game tasks, such as basic Hostile Hunt, Mining, and a number of speciality modes.

This guide will walk you through the fundamental concepts and steps to get started with Ship Automations.

Understanding Ship Automations

At the most basic level, all Ship Automations share this common structure:

  1. Fully repair the ship (speed up ongoing repair, or fully repair if damaged/destroyed).
  2. The ship is sent to its target location.
  3. The ship performs its designated task at that location.
  4. The ship continually checks its recall conditions.
  5. Once any recall condition is met, the ship is recalled to base.
  6. The ship starts to repair and requests alliance help.
  7. If the task is meant to repeat, loop back to step 1.
  8. If the task is not meant to repeat (or has finished repeating), the automation ends.
  9. Follow-on tasks, such as collecting dailies and/or switching to a different profile.
