Automatic Updates - FastTrek Docs
How FastTrek keeps itself up to date.
FastTrek includes a convenient automatic update system that keeps your installation up to date with the latest features and improvements.
Update checks
FastTrek checks for updates on startup and regularly while it is running. When a new version is available, FastTrek will notify you and show the release notes.
Update process
Check the release notes for details on what has changed in each version.
To install an update, simply restart FastTrek and follow the prompts.
Skipping / Cancelling updates
If you find that an update is causing issues, please get in touch to report the problem.
You can use a previous installer to revert to an earlier version if needed.
When you start the older version, it will notify you that a newer version is available. At this point you can skip the update by selecting “Exit”.
