This setting now disables the Kir’Shara queue for an automation when it is enabled. (Previously this option was completely ignored as soon as Kir’Shara was used.)
You may need to check your saved profiles and update them accordingly.
Fixes a packaging error in v1.16.17 where the version
appeared as ${project.version} in the UI internally.
This caused errors such as not being able to login or the game not being detected.
Please update to this version to resolve the issue.
This update aims to address issues with hostile targeting:
This update fixes the issue where the bot would occasionally and seemingly randomly go straight back through a rift it had just arrived through, and ending up in a completely wrong system.
For those curious about the details, a single click into the system is required before keyboard pan has any effect. In a system where we arrived on the left, FastTrek would aim this around the left hand edge, and “out of bounds” would flash before panning the system (due to that enabling click).
But in some cases, the ship menu would sometimes become taller for no reason, causing the click to fall on the ship captain’s portrait instead of into the system. As a result, the system would never register the click, and the pan would never be enabled.
The view would stay on the entry rift and FastTrek would see that as the only possible one to take.
More work has been done to avoid an excessive number of attempted restarts, especially during maintenance periods. On MacOS in particular, these could lead to crashes, multiple broken instances of STFC running, and using up more system resources than necessary.
The Excelsior ability “Decloaking Deflector” can now be activated by the Voyager / Excelsior automation (previously “Voyager Bioship”).
The cooldown for this ability can be configured in Settings > Ship Behaviour.
The automation will automatically detect which ability is available on the current ship and use the corresponding cooldown.
This releases fixes some issues with the in-game Gift Collection introduced in 1.16.14:
There is a new daily kill counter on each ship tab and a combined total in the lower left hand corner of the FastTrek UI.
It tracks all successful battles that FastTrek witnesses (while it is running), including ships which are not automated.
Please note that this includes PvP battles, but does not include hostiles killed while in menus, or those where the ship does not actually show up as ‘in battle’ (such as GS-31 or Borg Cutting Beam). Losses, i.e. if a ship is destroyed during the encounter, also aren’t counted.
The counter resets at 5:00 UTC every day, as per Scopely’s daily PvE limit.
If the player took control from another device, triggering Reconnect Intervals, but the game got stuck in a state where it would normally trigger a restart of the game, FastTrek would restart the game and cause it to disconnect the player on the other device.
This has been fixed so that restarts or reconnects can only happen once the reconnect timeout has expired as expected.
Despite fixes in the previous version, elite hostiles (skull icon) could still be attacked due to poor image cropping. This has been adjusted so that attack dialogues should be correctly dismissed as expected when “Avoid Elites” is selected.
Due to ongoing issues with web store logins, this version switches to in-game gift collection to avoid missing out on core gifts.

I may bring back webstore collections in the future if I can find a reliable technique. Until then at least core gifts will be collected.
