Installation - FastTrek Docs

Download and install FastTrek on Windows or Mac OS.

Download

  1. Download the Windows installer

  2. Run the installer and follow the instructions

    The installer is localised in English, German, and French.

Download the FastTrek .dmg:

Initial Setup

Installing FastTrek

The installer will download everything necessary to install FastTrek itself. Simply follow through its steps and you should be good to go!

Installing FastTrek

  1. Open the downloaded .dmg file.
  2. Drag the FastTrek app into your Applications folder.

Allow FastTrek to run

FastTrek’s code is digitally signed. However, it is not currently ‘notarized’ by Apple and will trigger Gatekeeper as shown here:

  1. Click the ’?’ in the top right corner to open the associated help.

  2. Click the ‘Open Privacy & Security Settings’ link in the middle of the page.

  3. Click ‘Done’ on the original popup.

  4. Select ‘Open Anyway’ in the Security Settings.

  5. Give Permission for Screen Recording

    FastTrek needs Screen recording permissions to be able to ‘see’ the STFC game window. MacOS will show a prompt asking you to allow this. Please grant the permission in Privacy & Security settings.
