Schedules - FastTrek Docs
Learn how to configure FastTrek's collection, shield, and alliance help schedules.
Alliance Help
Controls when and how often FastTrek will send alliance help.
While any ship automation is active
As the name implies, when this option is enabled, FastTrek will send alliance help whenever any ship is automated under FastTrek’s control.
This is a quick way to complete the ‘Unity’ event, but can look unnatural if left on 24/7. Not that Scopely are looking, but … you know, just saying.
Off by default for this reason.
Before and after collections
With this option, FastTrek will send alliance help before and after each collection run. This makes sense and is arguably the most natural behaviour.
On by default.
During certain hours
Select a time window during which FastTrek will actively send alliance help. This can help to make you appear online and active during those hours.
Off by default.
Should “Pause All” pause alliance help?
Enabling this option means that when you hit the ‘Pause All’ button, FastTrek will also pause sending alliance help.
It will resume only when you hit ‘Resume All’ again.
The intent is to stop the mouse from jumping to the alliance help button when you pause your ships to be able to make brief manual adjustments. Just remember to “Resume All” later.
On by default.
Send Help Interval
This applies to the ‘automations active’ and ‘specific hours’ options above, controlling how often FastTrek checks if there are any Alliance Help requests.
Default is every 15 seconds.
Peace Shield / Station Shield
FastTrek offers sophisticated options to maintain your station shield and keep your resources secure.
Manual (off)
Disables automatic shield activation.
Renew when expired
When this option is enabled, FastTrek will automatically activate a new station shield with the selected duration whenever the current one expires.
Reactive (when attacked)
FastTrek will try to detect when your station is attacked and activate a shield when the initial 10 minute courtesy shield expires.
Following a schedule
The best of all the above:
Create a customised advanced schedule during which FastTrek will use any of these methods. The screenshot above shows an example with 4 time slots:
- 00:00-12:00: Renew using a 12 hour shield when the current one expires.
- 12:00-16:00: Reactive mode, setting a 4 hour shield if attacked during this time.
- 16:00-20:00: Set a 4 hour shield.
- 20:00-00:00: No shields.
Allow automations to drop shields
Some hostiles (Texas-Class) will require that you drop your station shields to be able to attack.
Enabling this option allows FastTrek to drop your station shield when necessary. It will resume when the automation ends.
Refinery / Collection Schedules
Use these to enable/disable individual smart or timed collections.
Smart Collection
When smart collection is enabled for any type of collection, FastTrek will schedule an initial collection within the next 5 minutes. This is to (re-)establish the current cooldowns for the selected collection type.
It will then monitor and follow cooldowns for all selected items.
In addition, an extra collection will be triggered just after the daily event reset:
- for the refinery, to check for a bonus refinery.
- for gifts, for special gifts such as compensation, missions, starter currency in new arc, etc.
Timed Collection
When timed collection is enabled for any type of collection, FastTrek will trigger the collection at the specified time every day.
With this option, there will be no extra collections within 5 minutes or just after event reset.
What will be collected?
Go to Settings > Collections to configure your ‘shopping list’ for each collection type.
See Collection and following pages for more information.
